Gasoline Rises 3 Cents to $2.332, Lundberg Reports
he national average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline rose 3.1 cents to $2.332 over the past two weeks, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.
The price was 45.7 cents higher than a year ago, when a gallon was at $1.875, Lundberg’s figures showed.
Analyst Trilby Lundberg told the Associated Press prices were more likely to continue to rise than to fall or remain flat.
Honolulu had the highest average price at $2.80 a gallon, while the lowest price was $2.10, in Portland, Ore.
