Gasoline Prices Rise 2 Cents to $2.29, Lundberg Reports

verage retail gasoline prices rose 2 cents over the past two weeks to $2.29 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg survey of gasoline prices released Sunday.

The average for mid-grade was $2.40, while premium was $2.50, according to Lundberg’s survey of 7,000 gas stations.

The price is about 8 cents higher than the same period last year.



The cheapest gas in the country was in Tulsa, Okla., at $2.10. The highest average price was $2.74 a gallon, in Honolulu.

California prices rose almost 8 cents a gallon from two weeks ago.
