Gasoline Prices Jump 11 Cents, Lundberg Reports
etail gasoline prices rose an average of 11 cents in the past two weeks, with regular climbing to $2.35 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations.
The average price for all three grades increased to $2.38 a gallon for the two weeks ended Friday analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her semimonthly survey.
The regular price rose 11 cents from $2.24. Mid-grade rose to $2.45, from $2.34, and premium climbed to $2.55, from $2.44.
Among stations surveyed, the lowest average price in the country for regular unleaded was in Newark, N.J., at $2.15 a gallon, while the most expensive was $2.63, in Honolulu.
