FTC To Review Comdata Licensing Deals

| Staff ReporterThe commission reached a consent agreement April 6 with Comdata, the nation’s leading fleet card supplier, based in Brentwood, Tenn. The company drew agency’s attention with the $50 million purchase of its most significant competitor, NTS Corp., in 1998. It raised concerns at FTC that Comdata could block the use of competing fuel cards.
