FMCSA Won't Let Up on Inspections

| Senior CorrespondentThe Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will continue to require its inspectors to conduct four to five compliance reviews of motor carriers each month, Julie A. Cirillo, the agency’s chief safety officer, said in a June 9 speech to transportation writers at the National Press Club.
“The requirement we put in place last April that investigators conduct four or five quality inspections each month will stay in effect until further notice,” she said.
