rivate equity firm Fenway Partners has acquired intermodal carrier RoadLink USA, Fenway said Monday.

RoadLlink, Jacksonville, Fla., has a capacity of about 1,500, Fenway said in a statement.

As part of the acquisition, John Anderson, Fenway Partners' transportation and logistics operating affiliate, will become Chairman of RoadLink USA.

The acquisition is Fenway’s fourteenth in the trucking and logistics sector. In 2000, the firm acquired Greatwide Logistics Services, then known as Transport Industries. (Click here for previous coverage.)

Roadlink is ranked No. 99 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in the United States and Canada.
