Secretary of Energy William Richardson met for two hours Feb. 9 with representatives of the transportation, distribution, utility and refinery industries to discuss the fuel crisis.

While Richardson continues to rebuff suggestions to draw down the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, he pledged further measures to facilitate distribution of heating oil and aid for low-income citizens.
