Epes Logistics said it bought brokerage firm Meredith Transport, to broaden service offerings of the Epes Carriers’ subsidiary. Terms were not disclosed.
Meredith, Archdale, N.C., offers truckload, less-than-truckload and international services. Epes Logistics offers brokerage, flatbed, over-dimensional, intermodal and warehousing services.
Meredith’s 10 employees will remain with the company.
Epes Carriers is ranked No. 78 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
