Distillate Inventories Fall; Gasoline, Crude Oil Supplies Rise

Distillates, which include heating oil and diesel fuel, fell 88,000 barrels last week, DOE said. Analysts were expecting a rise of 600,000 barrels, Bloomberg reported.
Heating-oil futures rose slightly on the New York Mercantile Exchange following the news, Bloomberg said.
Gasoline inventories rose 1.8 million barrels for the week, above analysts's expectations, Bloomberg said.
