DHL Supply Chain has signed a long-term contract to advance sustainable battery recycling with Fortum Battery Recycling, the company announced June 25.

Fortum develops processes to efficiently recover valuable raw materials from used batteries to drive a circular electromobility economy.

DHL Supply Chain will utilize this expertise as part of the agreement while providing customized service logistics solutions, in return, to ensure that recycling processes run smoothly, safely and efficiently.
