Deutsche Post Expects Strong 2007 in Logistics Division
eutsche Post logistics division reiterated its 2006 forecast and said it will outperform the market and post “strong growth” next year as more acquisitions are integrated, Bloomberg reported Monday.
John Allan, the head of the unit, said he is “extremely comfortable” in repeating the forecast for earnings before interest and taxes of at least 750 million euros, about $990 million, this year on revenue of more than 20 billion euros, or about $26.4 billion.
Deutsche Post became the world’s largest manager of warehouses and supply chains with its takeover of England-based Exel Plc last year, Bloomberg said. (Click here for previous coverage.)
