CVSA Invites Eclectic Mix to Discuss Trucking Safety

| Senior CorrespondentThe Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, which represents truck safety inspectors in North American, plans to bring a mixture of representatives from the public and private sectors together to talk about their concerns and hopes for coming to some mutual understandings about safety issues.
CVSA, an organization of law enforcement officers whose non-voting members include trucking companies and trade associations, has made arrangements to hold a half-day, focus-group session with colleagues as well as public advocacy groups. The meeting is scheduled for September during CVSA’s annual conference in Grand Rapids, Mich.
