PHOENIX — The former chair of the disbanded Information Technology and Logistics Council is trying to woo her compatriots into joining another American Trucking Associations council.

Karen Brigham of Prime Inc. chaired ITLC during its final administrative session of 1999-2000. Now she is running the Information Technology Committee of the National Accounting and Finance Council of ATA.

“I hope we’ll be bringing technology back to life for ATA,” Brigham said during the NAFC’s fall meeting here. “The Maintenance Council is working on truck technology, but we need to look at back office technology too.”

At NAFC, Brigham will be reunited with her former executive director, Richard Curtis, who now has that title with the accounting and finance council.
