CNF Names Stotlar CEO of Con-Way
ransportation company CNF Inc. said Friday that Douglas Stotlar was named chief executive officer of its less-than-truckload subsidiary, Con-Way Transportation Services Inc.
Stotlar, who was also named a senior vice president of CNF, was previously executive vice president and chief operating officer of Con-Way.
Stotlar succeeds the retiring Gerald Detter, who has agreed to remain as an advisor until Jan. 31, 2006, CNF said in a statement. Stotlar has been with Con-Way since 1985.
CNF said Young will be responsible for all day-to-day planning and execution of the truckload unit, projected to start operations during the first quarter of 2005.
CNF is ranked No. 4 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies.
