Three associations said last week they were interested in joining the America’s Trucking Army campaign, said a spokesman for American Trucking Associations.
The American Bus Association, Marina Operators Association and the Family Motor Coach Association have “expressed an interest in joining” the ATA-created initiative, the spokesman said.
ATA officials recently announced plans to train the nation’s 3 million over-the-road truck drivers to help safeguard the country from terrorist attacks (5-20, p. 1).
