ruckload carrier Transport Corp. of America on Monday named Scott Arves its new chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1.
Prior to his appointment at Transport Corp., Arves was president of the transportation sector for Schneider National, where he was responsible for the company’s trucking and intermodal business for six years.
Arves succeeds Michael Paxton, who became Transport Corp.’s CEO in 2001.
Transport Corp. of America is ranked No. 80 on the Transport Topics 100 list of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
