AMSA Votes to Leave ATA

| Staff ReporterThat unanimous decision was made at the group’s annual meeting, held from Feb. 24 to 28. The executive board’s action came as no surprise because ASMA had signaled its intention in December to leave the trucking federation.
Joseph M. Harrison, president of AMSA, said concern about the membership requirements of ATA’s reorganization plan was one of the main reasons the group chose to leave.
